Las Muertes Mas Bellas Del Mundo

I was commissioned by The Yellow House Collective to design the logo for their featured film "Las Muertes Mas Bellas Del Mundo (The Most Beautiful Deaths in The World), a documentary film about Salvadoran Artist in Washington DC. The inspiration and creation for the logo derived from a Mayan Death mask, provided by Quique Aviles (A Salvadoran artist and main protagonist of the film). I used the mask and reduced it down to a basic outline design, where I used the patterns and colors found in the mask to create the logo.

 

After completion, I used the logo to create other print materials such as posters, postcard, promo packet, and social media graphics for promotional needs
